Saumya Mathkar is a PhD researcher at BITS Pilani, K K Birla Goa Campus, working in the area of Edge Computing and Optimizations. Her research focuses on intelligent task scheduling, GPU-aware resource allocation, and distributed machine learning tasks in heterogeneous edge environments.

• Managed DevOps workflows on Azure DevOps, including repository migration, agent configuration, CI/CD pipeline creation, and YAML-based automation scripts.
• Designed and deployed IoT systems using AWS services (IoT Core, EC2) for real-time device data transmission and monitoring.
• Worked on conversion of legacy VB tools to Python for Azure DevOps integration and automation.
• Developed IoT-enabled microcontroller systems (PIC18) and implemented MODBUS gateways for cloud data transmission via GSM/GPRS modules.
• Worked with GSM/GPRS modules (SIM800, SIM900, Telit GE910) and IoT protocols including MQTT, CoAP, AMQP, HTTP, and HTTPS.
